SAME DAY NEW SMILE

SERVING LAKE COUNTY & COOK COUNTY

Same Day New Smile North Shore Chicago
Dental implants are changing the way people live. They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. Patients with dental implants can smile with confidence.

THE PROCEDURE

On the day of the surgery, the Drs. at NSOFS will IV sedate you for your comfort. All remaining teeth will be extracted, and to decrease pain and swelling, followed shortly by the use of Platelet rich plasma derived from the patient’s own blood. Four or more dental implants will then be placed per arch (Upper or lower or both).  A new fixed restoration, printed and shaped in our own office lab, will be screwed into your new implants. You then go home with a new set of teeth in just one visit that cannot be removed. The set of teeth that are given to you on the day of surgery are temporary teeth as they allow the implants to heal under the gums. Following a 4-5 months healing period, you will get a permanent set of teeth from your dentist attached to your implants that look and feel similar to natural teeth.
