Featured Technology

3D Imaging and Digital Treatment Planning

Traditional dental x-rays provide only a two-dimensional picture. We utilize the newest generation of cone beam CT (CBCT) scanners which capture detailed 3D images of your teeth, jawbone, sinuses, and facial structures. They do this at a dramatically reduced radiation level compared to medical grade scans and older CBCT scanners. The level of accuracy helps us identify even subtle anatomical differences and customize treatment to your exact needs. Whether planning dental implant placement, evaluating the proximity of your nerve to your wisdom teeth, or preparing for corrective jaw surgery, 3D imaging improves safety and outcomes by allowing us to “see” the surgical site before making an incision.

Guided dental implant surgery

Before you walk into our office for dental implant surgery, we will have planned and performed your surgery once already – digitally on a computer. Using your CBCT scan, we create a virtual treatment plan and 3D print a custom surgical guide in our office that allows implants to be placed with extreme precision. This improves long-term success, reduces the risk of complications, and often shortens healing time. Many patients also benefit from less invasive surgery and smaller incisions, which means less discomfort after treatment..
State-of-the-Art Anesthesia & Monitoring

Your comfort and safety are always our top priorities. We offer the full spectrum of anesthesia, from IV sedation to general anesthesia, and our team continuously monitors your vital signs throughout surgery using advanced equipment. We perform safe and routine IV sedation at all of our offices. Additionally, the main operating room at our Deerfield office is QUAD A accredited, meeting the same rigorous standards for anesthesia, sterilization, and emergency readiness as hospital operating rooms. This ensures that every procedure — whether a single tooth extraction, full arch implant restoration, or facial reconstructive surgery — is performed under the safest conditions possible.

Minimally Invasive Techniques

Advances in surgical tools and instrumentation allow us to minimize trauma to surrounding tissues. Techniques such as piezoelectric bone surgery, microsurgical instruments, and tissue-sparing approaches lead to smaller incisions, less swelling, and faster recovery times. For patients undergoing wisdom tooth extractions, bone grafting, sinus lifts, or gum grafting, these innovations can mean returning to work or school days earlier than expected.

Digital & Laser/Radiofrequency Technology

We also incorporate digital scanners for impression-free treatment planning and use medical-grade lasers for certain cosmetic and soft-tissue procedures. Lasers and radiofrequency devices allow for highly precise contouring with minimal bleeding, making them especially useful for esthetic gum reshaping or soft-tissue biopsies. Digital technology further enhances collaboration with your dentist or orthodontist, ensuring that your surgical care integrates seamlessly with your overall treatment plan.
